Victory Day will always be the symbol of the heroic past, strong spirit, courage and dedication of the Ukrainian people. People, who defended their homeland against invaders, should be always remembered. Today we express our respect and gratitude to the ones, who fought on the front lines, heroically worked in the rear, resisted the enemy as part of guerrilla groups, and were rebuilding the economy after the war.
It was killed tens of millions people at war; almost every family was touched by the bitterness of the loss. Now, more than ever, we understand the price of Victory! Today we understand how important peace is. What an act of bravery warriors did. Their lessons of honor and glory, heroism and self-sacrifice, loyalty to the fatherland inspires us to defend peace in our country. A low bow and glory to heroes!
It is our duty to be worthy successors of our great-grandfathers, grandfathers and fathers. Their persistence, courage and dedication - an example of patriotism and love for his native land! Today, on the 70th anniversary of the Victory, I want to wish all of us peace, unity, harmony, good news and good health! Bright future to our Ukraine!
